Mini to launch rugged Countryman SUV version in October
Mini is preparing to launch a rugged version of its Countryman SUV, scheduled for release in October. The new variant, currently undergoing testing, is expected to be officially presented during the Rebelle Rally, an all-female orientation race in the United States.
Building on previous concept cars and a limited-edition “Rugged Edition” released in South Africa, this global version will feature enhanced off-road capabilities. Key updates include revised bumpers, 18-inch wheels equipped with General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires, and a large roof rack that may include an extensible roof tent. Additionally, the model will feature a revised suspension system providing increased ground clearance to facilitate driving on more challenging terrains.
