Minia University hosts 14th University Youth Week

Minia University has concluded the 14th University Youth Week for Egyptian universities and higher institutes. Held from September 25 to 30, the event featured participation from 30 universities and institutes, focusing on sports, arts, culture, science, and social activities.

The event was held under the patronage of the Egyptian Prime Minister and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. During the closing ceremony, Minia University President Dr. Essam Farhat emphasized that the week served as a platform for meeting, friendship, and healthy competition rather than just a contest for prizes.

Participating institutions reported various successes. Menoufia University achieved notable results in sports, culture, and community initiatives, including a silver medal in men's singles padel tennis won by Youssef Abdel Hamid Abdel Sattar. Mansoura University also recorded distinguished results during the opening stages of the competitions.
