Minibus overturns on RN12 near Plouédern
A minibus overturned on the RN12 near Plouédern on Tuesday afternoon following a loss of control. The vehicle was traveling in the direction from Brest toward Morlaix when the accident occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m.
The minibus was carrying six adolescents and one adult supervisor, all of whom were originally from the Oise region. Emergency responders from Brest and Landerneau, including SAMU, treated several passengers at the scene before transporting some to the hospital for medical examinations. Other passengers were returned to their destination by another group leader.
The accident caused significant traffic congestion as authorities restricted movement to a single lane during the intervention. Gendarmes and road department officials were present at the scene, and the vehicle was eventually removed by a local garage around 6:40 p.m., after which traffic flow returned to normal.
