Mining and industrial sectors announce major regional events for 2026

Various mining and industrial events are scheduled for October 2026 in Chile and Bolivia to address regional development and investment.

In Copiapó, Chile, the FOREDE 2026 fair will host the podcast ‘La Veta Minera’ from October 20 to 22. Organized by Surmedia and SYM, the initiative aims to discuss the future of the Atacama region in anticipation of a significant mining investment cycle. Discussions will focus on water usage, local employment, talent, regional suppliers, and the coexistence of mining with other productive activities.

In Cochabamba, Bolivia, the FEMIC 2026 Industrial Mining Fair will take place from October 22 to 24 at the Alalay Fairgrounds. Organized by the FEICOBOL Foundation, CADEMIN, and FEXCO, the event seeks to promote industrialization and economic opportunities. The program includes an international forum on sustainable mining and a business matchmaking session organized by CADEXCO.
