Mining companies Algo Grande and Goldcliff report exploration and funding updates
Algo Grande Copper Corp. has closed a non-brokered private placement of 7,977,497 common shares at $0.60 per share, raising approximately $4.79 million in gross proceeds. The company intends to use the funds for ongoing drilling and exploration at its Adelita Project in Sonora, as well as for operating costs and working capital.
Separately, Goldcliff Resource Corporation has identified a new area of gold-silver mineralization at its Kettle Valley project near Rock Creek, British Columbia. Following surface rock sampling, the company identified the East Breccia Zone, characterized by carbonate-quartz brecciation and veining. Initial sampling results from the area showed gold grades ranging from 0.46 g/t to 0.73 g/t and silver values between 33.36 g/t and 54.46 g/t.
