Mining companies launch diamond drilling programs in British Columbia
Two mining companies have announced the commencement of diamond drilling programs in British Columbia.
Engineer Gold Mines Ltd. has begun an infill diamond drill core sampling program at the TAG Property, located southwest of Atlin. The program aims to more completely sample the 025FZ and HW structures, addressing gaps in historical data from 2006–2008. The company intends to use the resulting data to generate drill targets for 2027 to facilitate a resource estimate at the site.
Pacific Empire Minerals Corp. has also launched its 2026 diamond drilling program at its Trident copper-gold porphyry project and the adjacent Pinnacle project. Drilling at Trident will initially focus on the Trident Main Zone before moving to an area identified by expanded induced polarization data. Following Trident, drilling is planned for the Pinnacle property to test targets identified from recent airborne magnetic surveys.
