Several Canadian-linked mining and resource companies have announced significant financing activities to advance their projects.

Element 29 Resources has closed a C$12 million private placement to fund copper exploration in Peru. The company issued 7.27 million shares to support its flagship Elida Project and the Flor de Cobre and Paka projects. Strategic investor Alpayana S.A.C. maintained a 9.9% stake in the company.

U92 Energy Corp. is seeking to raise up to C$7 million through public offerings and C$1.5 million via a non-brokered private placement. The funds are intended to advance the Kurupung uranium project in Guyana, which holds a historical resource estimate of 20.6 million pounds of uranium.

Canadian Copper Inc. received C$3.2 million after Ocean Partners UK Limited exercised 12,725,000 warrants, increasing its ownership to 21.3%. The company plans to use the capital to eliminate US$2 million in outstanding debt and strengthen its balance sheet.
