Mining industry events announced for Perth in 2026

Perth, Australia, will host two significant mining industry events in September 2026. The WA Mining Conference & Exhibition is scheduled for September 16–17 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event features participation from major industry players including Fortescue, Glencore, Thiess, and Hancock Iron Ore, with sponsorship from Blackwoods, Conveyor Integrated Business Solutions, and Virgin Australia.

Additionally, the Water in Mining Global Summit will hold a regional chapter in Perth on September 8–9, 2026. This forum focuses on responsible water management, addressing technical issues such as aquifer recharge, tailings, and groundwater strategy. The summit is supported by BHP and expects to host over 150 professionals, including representatives from Alcoa, South 32, Newmont, and Gold Fields, alongside community leaders and regulators.
