Mining services providers expand operations in Peru and Chile

Schryver Logistics, a German-origin family company, is expanding its presence in Peru to support the mining sector. With 15 years of experience in the country, the firm is leveraging its customs agency in Callao to provide integrated supply chain, freight, and customs services. The company aims to serve both mining firms and their suppliers through end-to-end solutions, ranging from pickup at mine sites to final delivery.

In Chile, industrial services firm Axinntus has secured new contracts with Minera Los Pelambres and Minera Lomas Bayas. The contract with Minera Los Pelambres, part of the Antofagasta Minerals group, involves industrial cleaning and front loader operations at Puerto Punta Chungo. Additionally, Axinntus is executing a contract with Glencore’s Minera Lomas Bayas in the Antofagasta region, employing over 60 people to provide industrial cleaning and equipment maintenance.
