Mining updates: Norsemont drilling progress and Namibia Critical Metals project advancement

Norsemont Mining Inc. has provided an update on its Phase-3 drilling program at the Choquelimpie project. Since the beginning of the year, the company has completed sixteen drill holes totaling 4,100 meters. These efforts have helped delineate the edges of several hydrothermal breccia bodies and mineralization zones, identifying gold-bearing types including hydrothermal breccia and quartz-mica-sulfide alteration zones.

Separately, Namibia Critical Metals Inc. is progressing a transaction related to its Lofdal Heavy Rare Earth Project. The company is working with joint venture partners, the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) and Toyota Tsusho Corporation, to finalize shareholder consent and regulatory approvals. The Lofdal project is noted as a significant undeveloped source of dysprosium, terbium, and yttrium, intended to support supply chains for electric vehicles and renewable energy.
