Minions & Monsters Home Release Dates Announced by Universal

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has set the home‑media schedule for the animated film *Minions & Monsters*. The movie will debut on digital platforms on August 11, 2026, followed by a physical release of 4K UHD, Blu‑ray and DVD on September 8, 2026. The physical editions will contain roughly 45 minutes of exclusive bonus material, including behind‑the‑scenes featurettes on the animation process and new characters.

The film, the third standalone entry in the Minions franchise, follows the yellow characters as they chase Hollywood stardom and inadvertently unleash monsters, prompting a planet‑saving adventure. It is produced by Illumination Entertainment, with Chris Meledandri and Bill Ryan as producers. Pierre Coffin returns to voice the Minions and co‑directs with Patrick Delage. The voice cast includes Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeff Bridges, Zoey Deutch, Bobby Moynihan and Phil LaMarr. The movie currently holds a Certified Fresh 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the highest for any Despicable Me or Minions title.
