Minisforum announces M2 Pro Mini PC with Intel Panther Lake

Minisforum has announced the M2 Pro, a high-end compact Mini PC featuring the Intel Panther Lake platform. The device is powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, which includes 16 cores and 16 threads with a turbo frequency of up to 4.8 GHz.

For graphics and AI tasks, the system utilizes the Intel Arc B390 integrated GPU and an NPU. Together, these components provide a combined AI computing performance of 180 TOPS. The unit comes equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and offers significant storage expansion via three M.2 NVMe SSD slots, supporting up to 24 TB of total storage.

Connectivity options are extensive, including 10 GbE and 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and three USB4 ports. The compact 1.81-liter chassis also features a fingerprint sensor and a dedicated Copilot button. Shipping is expected to begin in late September.
