Miniso Mexico dismisses manager following allegations of homophobic abuse

Miniso Mexico has terminated a branch manager at its Centro Histórico location in Mexico City following allegations of homophobic abuse and harassment. The decision follows a public complaint by content creator Max Cintio, who reported being subjected to homophobic insults, aggressive behavior, and threats by the manager.

Cintio, a TikTok influencer with nearly one million followers, detailed the incidents in a video, stating that the manager's behavior included derogatory remarks and physical intimidation during his visits to the store. The company confirmed the dismissal of the manager, identified as Juan “N”, in response to the reported conduct.
