PASTEF denies Minister Ndiaye's claims of controlling party digital assets

A political dispute has emerged in Senegal between the PASTEF-Les Patriotes party and Minister of Infrastructure and Land Transport, Abdoulahad Ndiaye, regarding the control of the party’s digital assets.

Minister Ndiaye claimed during a television appearance that he retains control over the domain name jotna.org, which he says he purchased and developed. He stated that this control would allow him to block the online sale of party membership cards if he chose to do so.

In response, PASTEF issued a formal statement labeling the Minister’s claims as “fantastical and lying” and “pure fabrication.” The party asserted that the domain pastef.org is its “exclusive and inalienable property” and is managed solely by its authorized officials. PASTEF further clarified that the Minister has no technical access or influence over the platform used for membership registrations and assured supporters that all digital operations remain secure.
