Minister Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri visits Thumbay Medicity

Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, visited the Thumbay Medicity campus in Ajman to observe the development of healthcare, medical education, and health tourism. The visit highlighted the role of these sectors in the UAE’s strategy to build a diversified, knowledge-driven economy.

During the visit, the Minister noted that medical and longevity tourism are rapidly growing global sectors. He stated that the UAE is enhancing its infrastructure to attract international patients and visitors, aiming to become a leading global hub for advanced health and wellness.

Al Marri praised the Thumbay Group for its contribution to the nation's competitiveness, noting that the group attracts students from over 111 countries. The tour included Gulf Medical University and various specialized facilities, including Thumbay University Hospital, Thumbay Dental Hospital, and the Thumbay Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital.
