Minister Adhav Arjuna criticizes DMK during Maduranthakam campaign

Tamil Nadu Cabinet Minister Adhav Arjuna and Rajmohan campaigned for Margatham Kumaravel, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate, during the Maduranthakam assembly by-election.

Speaking at a TVK campaign rally, Minister Arjuna criticized the DMK government, noting initial doubts regarding whether they could compete against the DMK’s significant financial and political influence. He asserted that despite lacking such resources, the support of the public led to a victory that would place the DMK in the opposition.

Arjuna also directed criticism toward Udhayanidhi Stalin, referencing recent speeches and making allegations regarding his conduct. He characterized the current state of the DMK as a departure from the legacy of leaders like Anna and Karunanidhi, claiming the party has shifted under current leadership.
