Minister Çavuşoğlu pledges support for Atatürk Teacher Academy

Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu met with the leadership of the Atatürk Teacher Academy (AÖA) to discuss the institution's future development and international goals. Çavuşoğlu expressed his intention to continue supporting the academy, noting that its rejuvenating academic staff is promising.

The Minister stated that the primary objective is to internationalize the academy. He emphasized that graduates should not only hold teaching diplomas but also possess internationally recognized certifications in various fields. He also encouraged academics to focus more on research, publications, and book production to establish the academy as a globally recognized entity.

AÖA Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Nazım Serkan Burgul noted that the academy has gained significant momentum over the last four years. Academy President Prof. Dr. Güner Konedralı added that seven new faculty members joined this year and highlighted ongoing efforts to improve the quality of both instructors and teacher candidates.
