Minister Bernini inaugurates new student dormitory in Urbino

Minister of University and Research Anna Maria Bernini has inaugurated the Montefeltro student dormitory in Urbino. The facility, converted from the former Hotel Montefeltro, provides 105 beds, with 30% of the spots reserved for scholarship recipients.

Further expansion is planned following the completion of work on the nearby former Hotel Piero della Francesca, which is expected to add another 129 university beds. In the Marche region, funding for university housing has supported 40 interventions resulting in 4,061 total beds.

Additionally, ordinary funding for the four universities in the Marche region—Macerata, Politecnica delle Marche, Urbino Carlo Bo, and Camerino—is reported to be 233 million euros, showing growth between 2019 and 2026.
