Minister Locatelli to honor Pro Sport Ravanusa paralympic athletes

The Italian Minister for Disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli, will honor the paralympic athletes of Pro Sport Ravanusa during the ‘PRIMA LE PERSONE’ event in Palermo on Saturday, October 3. The ceremony will take place at the Marina Convention Center.

The team, which competes in paralympic foosball, is being recognized for a highly successful season. Their achievements include winning the DIR Coppa Italia in Varese, securing second place at the Italian Championships in Jesolo, and participating in the 2026 Champions League.

Despite their sporting success, the team has faced significant logistical challenges following the loss of their training facility at the Ravanusa Multiservice Center due to a failed agreement renewal with the local municipality. The athletes and staff have continued their training and competition through these difficulties.
