Minister of Health confirms funding for Risaralda regional hospital

Colombia's Minister of Health, Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo, has confirmed that national government resources are secured for the construction of the Hospital Regional de Alta Complejidad (HRAC) in Pereira. The fourth-level hospital is being built by the Risaralda Governorate.

Jaramillo stated that the current administration is committed to fully financing the project following various challenges and working sessions with control agencies.

Other regional updates include the opening of a new Sisbén office in Pereira at the Diario del Otún Building to improve service agility, and new security registration requirements for entering the Risaralda Governorate administrative building starting March 24. Additionally, Dosquebradas has implemented security operations in several strategic zones, resulting in numerous citations and vehicle impoundments.
