Minister Sara Pavkov criticizes protesters in Serbia

Serbian Minister for Environmental Protection Sara Pavkov has criticized protesters, stating that they “destroy, divide, and block” while government representatives “build and unite.” Speaking to Informer, Pavkov claimed that protesters lack a clear program or plan and argued that citizens are increasingly noticing the distinction between the two groups.

Pavkov emphasized that government officials should act as messengers of President Aleksandar Vučić’s policies and continue working hard to serve the people. She described the current situation as a period where the government has been held “hostage” by protesters, but asserted that this must come to an end.

Regarding political neutrality, the Minister stated her commitment to helping citizens regardless of their political affiliation, citing instances where she has assisted individuals from opposing political groups with health issues. She contrasted this with the protesters, whom she described as being “imbued with hatred.”
