Minister Óscar Puente defends government response to Ceuta crisis
Minister Óscar Puente addressed the recent crisis in Ceuta during an interview with Cristina Pardo. Addressing the government's position, Puente stated that the massive influx of people could not have been foreseen. He argued that while there were mentions of gatherings on social media, these did not constitute formal alerts sufficient to anticipate the scale of the mobilization.
Regarding accountability, Puente indicated that he does not see any accredited responsibility that would justify resignations or dismissals within the government. He maintained that the situation was unpredictable and that current evidence does not point to specific parties being held responsible for the event.
