Minister Shishkov inspects highway construction in Ruse and Pleven

Bulgarian Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Ivan Shishkov, is conducting inspections of major highway construction projects in the Ruse and Pleven regions. As part of the ‘Regions Speak’ initiative, Shishkov is scheduled to inspect the construction of the Ruse–Veliko Tarnovo motorway near Ruse. This visit includes meetings with local mayors, regional governors, and representatives from the Road Infrastructure Agency.

Following the Ruse inspection, the Minister will travel to the Pleven region to inspect section 4 of the Hemus motorway. The broader ‘Regions Speak’ campaign, launched in early August, aims to identify local issues regarding water supply and infrastructure to determine necessary municipal support. Shishkov has recently conducted similar site visits in Varna, Dobrich, and Shumen.
