Minister Sucuoğlu outlines port and infrastructure priorities

Minister Sucuoğlu has identified key priorities for the ministry, focusing heavily on the restructuring of the Ports Department to ensure services meet international standards. The minister noted that the vital importance of ports has been experienced firsthand and that significant decisions regarding their future are imminent.

Other priority projects include completing fiber optic infrastructure and enhancing road safety through lighting and maintenance. A specific goal is to complete the Girne-Çatalköy Road within the next three months. Additionally, the ministry plans to implement result-oriented policies regarding modern vehicle inspection stations, new public transportation systems, and the construction of a meteorology tower at Ercan Airport.
