Italy's Public Administration Minister Paolo Zangrillo Leads Reform Dialogue as Radical Party Calls Senate Action on Jud

On 3 August 2026, Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo took part in the fourth evening of “Sabaudia Incontra – Dialoghi in Corte 2026” in Sabaudia, Italy. The event focused on modernising the state, technological transformation of public administration and the country’s role in new global security dynamics. Zangrillo was joined by officials including Defence Under‑Secretary Isabella Rauti, Carabinieri General Salvatore Luongo, Leonardo’s space division head Massimo Claudio Comparini, Netgroup president Giuseppe Mocerino, Rheinmetall Italia’s Filippo Scarante and journalists. A panel discussion addressed defence, security and Italy’s strategic position in evolving geopolitical balances.

Separately, the Radical Party, represented by Irene Testa, urged the Italian Senate to complete the legislative process concerning judicial errors. The party called for the establishment of a national “Enzo Tortora” day to honour victims of wrongful convictions and highlighted related proposals on agriculture, cinema and EU‑level veto reforms. The request forms part of broader Senate deliberations on multiple bills, including a defence cooperation agreement with Kuwait.
