Ministry of Digital Transformation launches Digital Skills Academy

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, supported by the European Union, has launched the Digital Skills Academy for public administration. This nine-month program aims to enhance the digital expertise of over 160 civil servants.

Participants will receive training in various technical fields, including programming, networking and security, software development, testing, usability, and modern digital processes. Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski stated that the initiative seeks to create a workforce capable of leading digital transformation within their respective institutions.

According to Andonovski, these officials are intended to act as ambassadors for national ICT projects, such as uslugi.gov.mk, interoperability, and the Central Population Register. The goal is to ensure that the administration possesses the necessary capacity to implement and develop new digital solutions effectively, fostering a modern and functional public administration.
