Ministry of Education advises against premature textbook purchases
The Ministry of Education and Science has issued a call to parents and legal guardians to refrain from purchasing school textbooks and materials prematurely. This advisory comes as the process of negotiating prices with publishing houses remains unfinished.
The Ministry stated that the final catalog of textbooks and their respective prices has not yet been published on its official website. Once negotiations are concluded, the Ministry will release the final catalog and determine the specific amount allocated for each student's book purchases.
In addition to advising parents to wait for official publications, the Ministry has requested that bookstores and sellers do not begin sales before the official procedures are completed and a formal announcement is made. Stakeholders are urged to rely solely on official Ministry communications for further information.
