Ministry of Education announces gifted school admissions for 2026/2027

The Ministry of Education has announced the completion of the selection and approval process for students admitted to gifted schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. Following talent discovery tests and specific admission criteria, results have been finalized based on student scores and available classroom capacity.

The talent discovery tests were administered to 1,070 middle school students across various educational zones. The assessment utilized standardized tools to measure general mental ability, achievement, and creativity, supplemented by personal interviews. To ensure specialized care, gifted schools have set a maximum limit of 16 students per classroom to facilitate individual interaction and monitoring.

Parents can access their children's results via the ‘Mawhoub’ platform on the Ministry of Education website using a unified login system. Accepted students' guardians must register their intent to proceed with transfer procedures through the same platform, ensuring contact information is updated. The process for transferring student files to gifted schools is scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
