Ministry of Education denies rumors of teacher resignations

The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Education, Ali Farhadi, has dismissed rumors regarding widespread teacher resignations, labeling them as false. He stated that there is no truth to these claims.

Farhadi noted that since the reopening of schools for in-person learning, there has been a positive reception from both teachers and students, including in southern provinces such as Hormozgan. He warned that certain narratives are being created to undermine in-person education and disrupt the learning process, which could ultimately harm students' academic performance and literacy levels.

He emphasized that maintaining the quality of education and ensuring direct interaction between students and teachers is essential to prevent negative impacts on international assessment results and final exams.
