Ministry of Education launches digital student portal and report cards

The Ministry of Education has launched the new ‘Portal Familias’ and a digital report card system to advance the digital transformation and paperless initiatives within the provincial educational system.

Presented at the Juana Azurduy Provincial College in Ushuaia, the platform allows parents and legal guardians to securely access student information. Users can monitor attendance, view partial grades, and review reports prior to the end of each term. The system also enables the automatic download of digital report cards based on data entered by teachers into the School Management System (SINIDE SGE).

The initiative builds upon work started in 2023, integrating daily data regarding student attendance and academic performance to streamline communication between schools and families.
