Ministry of Education launches pedagogical compensation plan

The provincial Ministry of Education has launched the Pedagogical Compensation Plan, also known as the “Ampliación del tiempo efectivo de enseñanza presencial” (Expansion of effective in-person teaching time). The initiative aims to recover lost instructional hours and strengthen learning for students affected by recent interruptions in in-person attendance.

The first phase, the Learning Advancement Device (DAA), will run from August 29 until December 12. During this period, classes will be held every Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.

Participation is mandatory for students in 1st through 6th year at two specific institutions: Provincial School No. 19 “Primera Legislatura” in Río Grande and Provincial School No. 24 “Juan Ruiz Galán” in Ushuaia. These schools were selected because they experienced prolonged periods without in-person classes due to building maintenance and regularization tasks.
