Ministry of Emergency Situations warns of unstable weather

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a public warning regarding expected unstable weather conditions. According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, certain areas are forecasted to experience strong winds and intermittent, potentially intense precipitation through August 17.

The weather patterns are expected to increase water levels in rivers and may cause short-term flash floods in some mountain streams. In response, authorities have advised citizens to stay away from light structures, temporary buildings, billboards, electrical poles, wires, and tall trees during high winds.

Additionally, small vessel operators are prohibited from entering the sea during these conditions. To prevent injury from potential flooding, the Ministry recommends staying away from dangerous areas and moving to higher ground immediately if a flood occurs.
