Ministry of Health identified with 16 surplus land facilities

An inspection by the Government Inspectorate has identified 16 surplus land and housing facilities under the Ministry of Health that require urgent management to prevent waste. These facilities, spanning 46,034.4 square meters, belong to six different units and are currently deemed unnecessary for their original purposes.

The affected entities include the Hanoi Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital, the National Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology, the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Central Highlands, and the Quyp Lap Central Hospital for Phong-Dermatology, among others.

The inspectorate noted that several properties have remained vacant for over 12 months. The report also highlighted deficiencies in the inventory, declaration, and management of public asset databases, noting that some facilities were not properly recorded in the general inventory software.
