Ministry of Health Secretary visits Santa Casa de Araraquara

Adriano Massuda, the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Health, visited the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Araraquara to monitor investments made by the Ministry in the hospital complex and its Ophthalmology Service.

The Ministry of Health has allocated over R$ 4 million in high-technology equipment to the institution. This includes R$ 1,618,860 for five pieces of equipment for the Ophthalmology Service, R$ 1,073,862 for an oncology tomograph, and R$ 1,509,831 for six pieces of general surgery equipment.

During the visit, hospital representatives presented institutional demands to the Secretary, including requests to increase the MAC (Medium and High Complexity) ceiling, which is the funding used to cover medical procedures.
