Ministry of Manpower reports 81,171 active job vacancies

The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has announced that 81,171 job vacancies remain active and available for application through the Karirhub platform as of September 4, 2026. These openings are distributed across 32,086 different companies.

Secretary General Cris Kuntadi clarified that while 310,591 job listings were recorded in the system between January and early August 2026, the 81,171 figure represents only the currently active positions. Kuntadi advised job seekers to select roles based on qualifications, location, and deadlines, and to tailor their CVs to specific company needs.

To assist those who do not yet meet certain qualifications, the Ministry provides competency enhancement through 21 Vocational Training and Productivity Centers (BPVP) across Indonesia, as well as training for CV preparation and interview simulations. Additionally, the Ministry warned applicants to be wary of recruitment scams, noting that official government-facilitated processes do not charge any fees.
