Ministry of MSMEs and PNM launch Laksmi 2026 Program

Laksmi 2026 Program women micro-entrepreneurs MSME empowerment economic independence social assistance beneficiaries

The Indonesian Ministry of MSMEs and PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) have launched the Laksmi 2026 Program in East Java. The initiative is designed to provide mentorship for female micro-entrepreneurs to strengthen basic entrepreneurial capacities, including business management, focus patterns, and onboarding onto the SAPA UMKM platform.

The program specifically targets beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) to encourage economic independence and reduce long-term reliance on social assistance. The initial phase involves approximately 500 female micro-entrepreneurs, 250 of whom are existing PNM customers.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of MSMEs and PNM to formalize the synergy between financing programs and micro-business empowerment. The launch event in Surabaya was attended by Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman and Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf.
