Ministry of Religious Affairs concludes PPSN VI scouting camp in Malang

The Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs has concluded the sixth Perkemahan Pramuka Santri Nusantara (PPSN VI), held from October 1 to 6, 2025, at the An-Nur II Al-Murtadlo Islamic Boarding School in Malang, East Java. The event brought together 4,524 participants representing 34 provinces across Indonesia.

Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar emphasized that the collaboration between Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and the scouting movement aims to develop a competitive generation capable of representing Indonesia on the international stage. During the event, several key milestones were achieved, including the launch of the Saka Amal Bakti Ministry of Religious Affairs and a movement to plant 1,000 trees at the host pesantren.

Competition winners included East Java and West Java in the parade and carnival categories, while Bengkulu took first place in the Nusantara Pioneering competition. The program focused on developing discipline, leadership, creativity, and teamwork among the santri (students). Officials also encouraged participants to master foreign languages and use social media wisely to avoid spreading provocation.
