Ministry of Social Affairs launches LENSA SR for Sekolah Rakyat

The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has launched LENSA SR (Layanan Ekosistem Narasi Sekolah Rakyat yang Adaptif), a new communication governance mechanism designed to manage information regarding the Sekolah Rakyat program. The initiative aims to ensure that public information is valid, consistent, and integrated across all levels from central to regional offices.

This development follows data showing a high demand for information, with 5,299 inquiries and complaints recorded on social media through May 2026. The most frequent queries concerned the locations, schedules, and availability of Sekolah Rakyat. Previously, information was fragmented across various channels, leading to risks of slow responses, inconsistent narratives, and the spread of hoaxes.

The LENSA SR process involves six stages: issue capture and classification, substance validation, issue and narrative processing, response recommendation and follow-up, dissemination, and organizational monitoring. Information is gathered from multiple sources, including mass media, social media, and field reports, before being verified by relevant units to ensure accuracy and accountability.
