Ministry of Social Affairs provides free rehabilitation services in Makassar

The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, through the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, has provided various free social rehabilitation services in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The initiative was held at GOR Sudiang to commemorate the first anniversary of Sekolah Rakyat.

Available services include medical check-ups for blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid, as well as blood pressure and oxygen saturation monitoring. The program also offers doctor and pharmacist consultations, ear examinations using otoscopes, color blindness testing, and medication distribution.

In addition to medical care, the ministry provided physiotherapy, psychosocial therapy, and psychological counseling. The event also featured an exhibition of products created by beneficiaries of the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program, including coffee, batik ciprat, and various culinary items.
