Ministry of Sound celebrates 35th anniversary with headline DJ weekend in London

London's Ministry of Sound will mark its 35th anniversary with a two‑day birthday weekend on 2–3 October 2026 (running into the early hours of 4 October). The programme features headline sets by drum‑and‑bass legend Andy C – returning to the club for the first time in a decade with a three‑hour performance of material from his new fourth album – house pioneers Kerri Chandler and Moodymann, who will jointly headline a daytime session under the Hard Times brand, and techno‑house producer Loco Dice, who will close Saturday night on the Urge night.

The celebration is part of a broader anniversary initiative that includes a major renovation of the club’s main room, the publication of the book "Ministry of Sound: Anthology", the launch of the live‑streamed DJ competition Boxed In, the immersive food‑and‑music experience Last Orders, and a one‑off return to Ibiza in September, the venue’s first island event in more than ten years. Club Director Matt Long said the line‑up was chosen to reflect the club’s heritage and its current sound.
