Salto hosts first CUBAP Northern Selection Boxing Camp

The first Northern Selection Boxing Camp of CUBAP (Comisión Uruguaya de Boxeo Amateur y Profesional) was held in Salto, Uruguay. The event took place at the Casa de los Deportes and brought together 35 children and young athletes from various departments across the northern region of the country.

Led by national coach Germán Freire and organized by Rafael Sosa Pintos with support from the Intendencia de Salto, the camp focused on technical training, discipline, and regional integration. CUBAP emphasized the inclusive nature of the selection, aiming to provide equal opportunities for athletes to develop their skills and strengthen Uruguayan boxing.
