Ministry of the Civil Service launches payroll cleanup for Q4 2026
The Ministry of the Civil Service has initiated a process to clean up the payroll file for state public service agents for the fourth quarter of 2026. Secretary General Thérèse Bafalanga Atosa has established the procedures for updating base salary information across various public administrations.
The operation aims to verify the actual administrative status of agents—including whether they are active, on leave, retired, deceased, or have abandoned their posts—to ensure the payroll file is reliable. This update is intended to improve control over state personnel numbers and the total wage bill by correcting errors in names or registration numbers and addressing duplicate entries.
