MINIX EU928-AI Mini PC and FriendlyELEC NanoPi M6V2 SBC Expand AI Edge Computing

MINIX announced the EU928-AI mini PC, powered by Intel's Core Ultra 9 285H processor and equipped with Intel Arc graphics, an NPU delivering up to 99 TOPS of AI performance, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD (expandable to 128 GB RAM and a second SSD), dual 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth and Thunderbolt 4. The system supports four displays via HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and Thunderbolt 4 and targets creators, developers and analysts who need local AI inference without cloud latency. It is available globally through MINIX sales channels.

FriendlyELEC released an updated NanoPi M6V2 single‑board computer, featuring the RK3588S SoC with eight cores (four Cortex‑A76 and four Cortex‑A55), a Mali‑G610 MP4 GPU and an on‑board NPU capable of 6 TOPS AI inference. The board includes 8 GB LPDDR5 memory, support for 8K HDMI 2.1 output, dual MIPI‑CSI/D‑PHY camera interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet, USB‑C power delivery, and NVMe storage via an M.2 slot. An ES8389 audio codec replaces the previous unit, adding a 3.5 mm stereo jack. The NanoPi M6V2 is aimed at edge‑computing applications such as smart‑home gateways, digital signage and portable media players.
