Minkah Fitzpatrick returns to full practice for New York Jets
New York Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick returned to full practice on Thursday following a groin injury that sidelined him since the season opener against the Tennessee Titans. Fitzpatrick, a veteran former Pittsburgh Steeler, expressed frustration over the injury but noted he has remained focused on film study during his rehabilitation. Jets coach Aaron Glenn indicated there is a “really good chance” Fitzpatrick will play in Sunday’s upcoming road game against the Chicago Bears.
Despite the positive news regarding Fitzpatrick, the Jets face several other availability concerns. Kingsley Enagbare missed practice due to a knee injury, and five other players—Breece Hall, Mason Taylor, Adonai Mitchell, Dylan Parham, and Kiko Mauigoa—remained out of practice for a second consecutive day. These players are currently considered week-to-week. Additionally, Jeremy Ruckert and Kenyon Sadiq were limited in practice due to knee and back injuries, respectively.
