Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport named North America's best mega airport

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has been named North America's best mega airport for customer and traveler satisfaction for the third consecutive year. According to the annual JD Power North America Airport Satisfaction Study, MSP ranked first in all seven measured dimensions, including ease of travel, terminal facilities, airport staff, and food, beverage, and retail options.

In 2025, the airport served over 36 million passengers, ranking as the 17th busiest in the United States. To accommodate growth, MSP has announced several future expansion projects. These include the introduction of 47 new retail and dining concepts by 2029, a 168,000-square-foot expansion of Terminal 2, and a 157,000-square-foot expansion of Concourse G in Terminal 1 to increase seating and international arrival capacity.
