Minnesota accidents result in multiple injuries
Two separate accidents in Minnesota resulted in injuries to several individuals. In Big Lake Township, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 10 involving a transit van and an SUV. The crash, which took place near County Road 43, sent a 43-year-old woman and her 15-year-old passenger to Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 12-year-old passenger in the SUV was also involved, though her condition has not been released.
In Melrose Township, an ATV rollover on Westfield Road injured two teenagers. The driver, a 17-year-old, was extricated from the vehicle after losing control on a curve and was airlifted to Children's Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A 16-year-old passenger was also injured and transported to Melrose Hospital. Authorities noted that neither individual was wearing a helmet or a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
