Minnesota authorities file murder charges in two separate incidents

Two separate violent incidents in Minnesota have resulted in murder charges.

In Monticello, authorities have filed charges following the death of 57-year-old Daniel Ferdelman, who was found stabbed to death in his bed. Investigators believe the suspect, Steven Stahlberg, had been involved in a physical altercation with Ferdelman earlier that day regarding a pet. Following the incident, a statewide search was launched involving the Wright County deputies, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

In Minneapolis, 49-year-old Danuell Lamont Love has been charged with second-degree murder following a fatal shooting on Bryant Avenue South. Prosecutors allege the shooting occurred after an argument between Love and the victim regarding the sharing of food. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots following a physical fight, and law enforcement recovered a handgun that a witness observed Love discarding in a bush.
