Minnesota Chamber of Commerce launches manufacturing contest

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce has launched the third annual ‘Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota’ competition, a bracket-style contest designed to highlight the state’s manufacturing industry. Sixty-four products have been selected for the initial round of public voting, which remains open until September 7.

Among the competitors is Superior Industries’ TeleStacker Conveyor, an automated machine developed in Morris, Minnesota, to assist quarries and mines in handling bulk materials. Other notable products in the first round include Duluth Pack’s Heritage Leather Backpack, ME Elecmetal’s NASA Crawler Transporter Track Shoe, and Minnesota Marshmallow Bigfoot Bite.

The competition aims to celebrate the economic impact and innovation of Minnesota-based manufacturers. The winner will be announced at the 2026 Manufacturers’ Summit on October 6.
