Minnesota Lynx beat Phoenix Mercury as McBride scores 37 and Miles hits career‑high 33
The Minnesota Lynx defeated the Phoenix Mercury 104‑100 on Monday at the Target Center. Kayla McBride recorded a game‑high 37 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Rookie Olivia Miles posted a career best 33 points on 10‑of‑16 shooting, added eight assists and five rebounds.
Miles also became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 400 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists, doing so in just 22 games. The victory extended the Lynx’s winning streak to three games, kept them atop the league with an 18‑6 record and the highest scoring average (90.6 points per game), and maintained their top‑two ranking in scoring, field‑goal percentage, rebounds, blocks and steals.
