Minnesota Lynx clinch top WNBA seed as Indiana Fever head to playoffs

The WNBA regular season has concluded, setting the bracket for the 2026 playoffs. The Minnesota Lynx clinched the No. 1 seed following a dominant 86-66 victory over the Indiana Fever in their season finale. The Lynx will face the No. 8 seed New York Liberty in the first round.

The Indiana Fever finished the season as the No. 6 seed, securing a first-round matchup against the defending champion Las Vegas Aces. The Fever's final game was marked by a career-low performance from Caitlin Clark, who scored just two points on 1-of-12 shooting. Additionally, the team faced injury setbacks as Aliyah Boston was ruled out with a leg injury and Ty Harris was carried off the court.

Other playoff seedings include the Golden State Valkyries at No. 2, the Las Vegas Aces at No. 3, the Atlanta Dream at No. 4, the Washington Mystics at No. 5, and the Dallas Wings at No. 7. The postseason begins this Sunday with best-of-three opening rounds.
